There are two types of pearl farming. These are called nucleated and non-nucleated farming. Saltwater and freshwater pearls are their common names.

If you are an individual who owns a pearl collection, then you probably already know that the pearls come from Tahitian pearl farms. But the things you quite possibly have no idea of will be the means these pearls were grown. It requires some time and effort to produce the best pearl.
