As people are looking to have sleek straight hair, hair straighteners are becoming more and more popular. Here are a few tips of what you should do and not do with a straightener.
Dry your hair before putting in the straighteners.
Wash your hair using all the normal shampoos and conditioners, afterward apply the serum via your hands. Spread it along the length of your hair smoothing it in. Most products sold by salons will work much better than the cheaper normal store bought brands.
Turn on the straighteners so they can warm up, then begin drying your hair, using a paddle brush to encourage the hair to straighten. When you’re ready to use the hair straightener, remember to pull it through the hair in one fluid motion, being careful not to stop while doing so.
Never rush to finish as you make your first tries in straightening your hair.
It will take some time to get the style that you want, and taking your time to get the hang of it will help you to get it right. If you pace yourself and take the time to get it right the first few times you use the straightener, it will make it easier and quicker in the long run to get the results you want.
After all is said and done, make sure that the end result is exactly what you want.
It is important when using straighteners that you keep the style consistent throughout your hair. Using a main mirror and a hand mirror in conjunction to make sure the back of the hair is in order. If there are parts that are not straight, take the time to correct them.
If could take more than one try for larger patches that tend to be more difficult to reach to get right. Make sure you end the style by blending together the ends of you hair. Make it appear to be more together by using clipless straighteners to prevent the hair from separating.
Hair straighteners are very hot, so be careful not to burn yourself!
While using straighteners, you may find you are burning your fingers accidentally. A professional from a salon will be able to tell you exactly how to use your straighteners in a safe manner. Always let your hair cool after each time you sweep through it, the hair can become so hot that it can burn you.
