As people are looking to have sleek straight hair, hair straighteners are becoming more and more popular. Here are a few tips of what you should do and not do with a straightener.

Dry your hair before putting in the straighteners.

Wash your hair using all the normal shampoos and conditioners, afterward apply the serum via your hands. Spread it along the length of your hair smoothing it in. Most products sold by salons will work much better than the cheaper normal store bought brands.

Turn on the straighteners so they can warm up, then begin drying your hair, using a paddle brush to encourage the hair to straighten. When you’re ready to use the hair straightener, remember to pull it through the hair in one fluid motion, being careful not to stop while doing so.

Never rush to finish as you make your first tries in straightening your hair.

It will take some time to get the style that you want, and taking your time to get the hang of it will help you to get it right. If you pace yourself and take the time to get it right the first few times you use the straightener, it will make it easier and quicker in the long run to get the results you want.
