Of course, when people engage in business opportunities, they do so with the vision and intent of being successful. Not surprisingly, success requires planning and action. You should never intent to blindly engage in a home based business without first determining what the vision and purpose of that business will be. Such purpose and vision will be adequately defined by what is called your “mission statement”. Your mission statement is a two to three sentence summation of why your business exists, and where it is heading. Have you ever caught yourself using the word “should” when talking about something which needs to be done, but does not get done? This is actually a quite common word for people to fall back on when they talk about their goals. Several of us view “should” as a convenient, one syllable word which acts as a fail-safe when we are confronted about our bad habits. What we fail to recognize is that such a harmless looking and sounding word is deadly to our eagerness to make money fast. This word “should” tells us that while we know we need to do one thing, it is okay to put that thing to the side and carry on.
