Anyone that has been doing any type of studying or showing an interest into what the Mormons believe and stand for and have a true knowledge of the Bible itself are going to realize that there are many fallacies that this particular religion falls into. Although one must admit that there are several interesting parts of the Mormon religion although not believable still have an interest to them. One of the biggest interests is the Celestial marriage.

If one were to ask at the Mormon what their beliefs are they will more than likely refer you to the 13 articles of faith. These are points at that were written by their founder Joseph Smith in order to explain what the Mormon church is based on. The Mormon church incidentally is the Church of latter-day Saints. Some of the points covered in the 13 articles are based on what they believe in God as being the eternal father and that his son is Jesus Christ and they also believe in the Holy Ghost. If one goes a little further to research this they will soon find that be are not considered as one and the same as Christian belief teaches but the Mormons believe they are three separate Gods.

If you have heard of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints then you have heard about the Mormons. On the surface the Mormons will tell you that they do believe that Jesus is the savior of the world and they also believe in the Bible. So far up to now that doesn’t seem to be that quite unusual as to what many other religions believe. Where things start to change though is where some of their beliefs stem that Jesus appeared to their one time leader Joseph Smith. This was to have taken place in the 1820s. Apparently the whole reason for this appearance was to restore Christ Church back to a way that it was meant to be. If one thinks that the Mormons is a small religion you might want to think again as it is the fourth largest in the United States alone.

There is no doubt that every religion has their own set of beliefs and concepts about what their religion means and how it should be applied to their everyday lives. Mormons are no different and have their own unique beliefs as well. When one compares other religions against their own, they often seem foreign and unexplained. This dates back to the 1830s which is a religion that was founded by a man by the name of Joseph Smith. Up until 2006 there were over 12 million members of this religion so it is not one that would be considered small.
